Kelly has a passion for working with clients, helping them look good, feel better, try new things and experiment with movement and exercise. We need to find bravery and feel good about ourselves…body and mind. Kelly began her career many years ago as a nursing student but found through some of her own life experiences that she wanted to help people in a different way. Being healthy and exercising go hand in hand. She took her education and combined it with her many fields in the fitness industry to help people find their journey with fitness in a safe and fun environment.
Kelly has been comprehensively trained in many modalities including; Pilates through Core Dynamics with Michele Larsson and Virginia Nicholas, GYROTONIC® method, Kettle Bells with KettleBell Concepts, and Booty Barre with Tracey Mallett. She has been working in the fitness profession for over 17 years.
Kelly has been in the valley for over 30 years. She has two adult children and she and her husband enjoy spending their spare time in the beautiful mountains of California hiking and mountain biking.

I believe that happiness is a choice. I believe that everyone can set a goal and achieve it with the right support. I believe in leading a healthy, active lifestyle that will allow me to age gracefully. I believe that we can all “play” like we did when we were kids and that growing up and becoming a responsible adult doesn’t have to be boring. I am a mother, a wife and a friend; this is who I am.
I pursued my education in physical therapy because I have always been intrigued by how the body works as well as helping others. After many years in a traditional hospital setting I felt drawn to the space between acute rehab and return to sport or life. Working in a space like Quantum Fitness allows me to combine my education and do what I love.
I believe there are many ways to get from point A to point B. In my experience the best results are achieved through a collaborative effort between the client and the instructor. I think of myself as a tour guide, someone who knows the layout of the land but this is your journey. You must be actively involved to make progress.

Kathleen received her Pilates teacher training through The Pilates Center in Boulder, CO considered by many to be the most respected and comprehensive program of its kind. The Pilates Center program was developed under the direction of Romana Kryzanowksa, heir to the work of Joseph Pilates founder of the Pilates Method.
Kathleen is a Certified Pilates Teacher through the Pilates Method Alliance and is also a California licensed Physical Therapist having completed her PT studies at Boston University. She is also a Yoga instructor certified through the teacher training program at Yoga Central in La Quinta, CA.
In addition to teaching and practicing both Pilates and Yoga Kathleen enjoys hiking the many trails in and around the beautiful Coachella Valley.
GYROTONIC® Master Trainer
Tim has 31 years of experience as a movement professional. His background is in modern dance, therapeutic massage, construction and martial arts. His teaching style is simple and geared towards finding your basic animal nature in movement. Tim is available for private instruction and teacher training.
A native of California, Crissy Castillo was born and raised in Carlsbad, Ca. She has been involved in the fitness industry for 15 years. In addition to her commitment to helping people achieve their health and fitness goals, Crissy enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 beautiful children.
Crissy’s passion is health and wellness. She brings creativity and infectious energy to all of her classes and personal clients. She holds a BA in Physical Education, with an emphasis in Exercise Physiology. She is an AFFA certified personal trainer, with certifications in Kettlebell Concepts, Booty Barre , and TPI (Titlesit Performance Institute) as a certified golf fitness professional. Crissy is currently working on her Comprehensive Pilates certification through the Body Arts and Science Institute (BASI). Crissy strives to lead her healthiest life and helps others do the same! She is available for private training.
Rudy Gizzi, who grew up in Chicago, was a gymnast in his teens. For over 20 years, he taught aerobics with Richard Simmons & Jane Fonda at their studios in Beverly Hills.
Rudy has completed extensive Pilates training with Jay Grimes of Los Angeles and has taught at Winsor Pilates. Rudy is renowned for his classical training and teaching style. He has taught at many country clubs and studios throughout the Coachella Valley and Los Angeles area.
